We just love these city hall weddings. Small and intimate, with lots of time for couples photos in wonderful Copenhagen city. According to Visit Copenhagen “In 2012, every fourth wedding at Copenhagen City Hall was non-Danish. Today it is every third.” Why? The Danish government believes consenting adults should be able to get married without much red-tape. This one features Martin and Apphia who are truly and international couple. Martin is Slovakian and Apphia is American. They live in Scotland but wanted to have a destination wedding and married in Copenhagen. The ceremony was at Copenhagen City Hall, followed by a reception dinner at the Admiral Hotel. Warm and funny, this couple was so much fun to shoot and I got chills at the end when Apphia, who is a singer-songwriter sang her vows to Martin.
