Caughlin Ranch toddler photo session in west Reno

BLOG jack caughlin ranch 009Jack is one sweet little boy.      He had so much fun running around the hills and grass near Caughlin Ranch.  He played in the dirt.  He played with rocks.  He played with pine cones. He played with new spring flowers next to a pond.  Being a toddler is a lot of fun.  So is photographing one!   We love to see new discoveries out in “nature.” (Even if nature really is the back yard.)   We don’t often quote poetry here,  but the curiosity this little boy has reminds us of one of our favorite childhood poems, “Where the Sidewalk Ends,” by Shel Silverstein.   The first few lines read:

“There is a place where the sidewalk ends, and before the street begins,
and there the grass grows soft and white, and there the sun burns crimson bright”
And that is exactly the magical place we got to play in and around with this little boy at sunset.
