Wedding photography in Dragør: a sneak peak
It has been too waaaaay long because of corona, but last Saturday I had the honor and a most exciting job; namely wedding photography in Dragør. Boy was it great to be back!
Being a wedding photographer means that the work is not completed after the last dance. In fact after the wedding is over, I have to review the hundreds of photos and edit them. This takes time as each photo is worked on for consistency and to adhere to my photo style. I spend as much time editing a wedding as I do shooting one!
Depending on how many weddings there are in the queue, it can take from 4-8 weeks to deliver the edited photos to the couple. Most people can not wait that long, or would like to send thank you cards sooner. So I always do a little sneak peak where the couple can download and share between 5-10 photos, without having to wait 8 weeks.
The houses in the old town are from the 18th and 19th centuries. The streets are narrow and lined with flowers that grow up through the cobblestones in the summer. Dragør is one of the best preserved cities in Denmark, and one of my favorite places to take wedding photos.
The weather, the lighting and the sharp autumn colors together with the fantastic Dragør background gave this wedding an extra spark. It was also easy to see how in love the bridal couple is and how comfortable they were in front of the camera. Even the residents were happy to see us and commented that it was wonderful to see weddings come back to Dragør after corona.
We got so many beautiful pictures that it was hard for me not to edit the whole wedding right away. Until then, they, (and hopefully you, dear reader,) can enjoy this sneak peak.
