Bryllup i Københavns Rådhus
Paula og Craig kom til København bare for at blive gift. Danskerne tror på, at hvis man er to samtykkende voksne, burde der ikke stå noget i vejen, især ikke statspapirer. Paula og Craig er fra to forskellige lande og bor i et trejde, så et bryllup på rådhuset i Danmark, var en nem beslutning. Men de af os, der bor i København, ved at København er et ret fantastisk sted at blive gift i. For Paula og Craig startede vi dagen på Københavns Rådhus. Efter ceremonien gik vi gennem baggyder med farverige huse langs kanalen, hvor vi endte på Christiansborg Slot. Jeg spørger altid mine klienter hvilken type lokalisering de kunne tænke sig hvorefter jeg skræddersyer det efter deres ønsker. På den måde kan de, når de kommer hjem og beslutter sig for hvilke billeder, der skal hænge på væggen, ikke kun have billeder, der minder dem om dagen, men som også passer til deres unikke stil og personlighed.
Og København har masser af personlighed. Byen har masser af moderne og gamle bygninger, smalle gader med rækker af farvestrålende huse og snoede kanaler. Byen har slotte og enhjørninger såvel som natur. Alle beliggenheder udgør fantastiske steder for din bryllupsfotografering, og de fleste ligger i gåafstand fra byens centrum.
Udover at have farvestrålende arkitektur, har København over 15 restauranter med Michelin-stjerne, hvoraf Geranium ligger i toppen med tre stjerner. Hvis du er en madelsker, har du uden tvivl hørt om Noma, som hele to gange er blevet kåret som verdens bedste restaurant. Der er også mange skjulte perler, der kun venter på at blive opdaget.
Danskerne elsker at se brudepar, så vær ikke overrasket, hvis folk råder ‘Tillykke!’, mens de suser forbi på deres cykler. Det betyder tillykke, så I skal bare råbe ‘Tak!’ tilbage.
